ONE INCH AT A TIME. 4 May 2009
Some Lithe Love:
Lauren,
I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for kicking my butt in Sweet Cheeks on Saturday. I just finished my first month of unlimited classes and while my scale hasn't moved, I have lost a total of 11" between my chest, waist, hips and thighs. While I have a million more inches to lose I really feel motivated and love the classes you provide. The hour flies and I feel sooo satisfied after each workout.
Thanks for everything-you guys are the best!!
Sincerely, Jaclyn D.
Congrats, Jaclyn! So great to hear! Just be patient and try not to go by what the scale says. You're gaining muscle (and losing fat) but muscle weighs more than fat so that old scale will trick you. If you had a scale that weighed fat and muscle separately i promise that you'd be number happy! in the meantime, keep measuring.

Lauren, There are a number of posts about focusing on how our bodies change and tone, and gain muscle, so we should not focus on the scale to gage success. Any advice on the best way to measure our waists, busts, hips, etc to track changes?
